anti-crepuscular rays
Hi Sandra,
I have been told they are anti-crepuscular rays and if you google this you will see more info and some amazing images.

strange phenomenon ??
Hi Sandra, my mistake Tumble bee Mountain Kearsley, I am guessing you were also looking towards the noth / east at sunset.
It was certainly beautiful but really odd to see rays like this coming from that direction.

strange phenomenon ??
Hi , I am not sure where Dalton Mountain is but I took the pictures that are similar at Tomago and Heatherbrae posted yesterday evening, the funny thing is the rays in my pictures were coming from the east / north /east at sunset????? I was driving north towards Raymond Terrace when the sun was clearly setting behind me and I could see it in my rear view mirror. unless there was a ship made of mirrors on the ocean behind Hawks Nest the sunset must have been reflecting off the moon???????????
